There will be a Holiday GeoBash on December 5th beginning at 6:00pm. It will be held at Aladdin's (N 61 10.877 W 149 52.177) Dinner will be buffet style and the cost is yet to be determined, watch the soon to be published event page and this forum for updates.
There will be a Chinese auction style gift exchange so bring a gift ($10 value or less) to exchange if you would like to participate in the gift exchange. There will be games for kids and adults alike plus possibly some new geoswag as well as lots of prizes and holiday merriment.
Please RSVP so we can get a good number of attendants so there will be enough food for everyone. I hope to see you all there.

FTRSVP ? we'll be back the day before from our wanderings Outside and would enjoy this event and seeing many of our Geo-friends before heading back to Valdez on Saturday morning. Thanks for letting us know beforehand and we'll look for the posting on GeoCaching.com

The Holiday GeoFest is right around the corner and should be lots of fun with friends old and new. I hope everyone can come out for dinner and entertainment on Friday, December 5th at 6:00pm at Aladdin's. The event costs $26 for adults and $15 for children 12 and under.
There will be a Chinese Gift exchange, bring a wrapped present to exchange if you would like to participate ($10 or under).
There will be Geo-Bingo, a color book contest for the kids and a raffle of sorts. There will be lots of goodies and prizes and a chance to socialize and eat some really good food. Come hungry as dinner is full course meal and the menu is a good one. Adult libations are available in the bar but are not included in the price of the event.
The new GeocacheAlaska! coinament will be debuted at the Holiday GeoFest, come be the first to have one for your tree.
Please bring cash for the event and the coinament if you would like one as it will make things easier for the organizers.
We need to have a good idea of how many will be attending by Tuesday, December 2, so please RSVP on the event page.
I hope you see you all there, happy holidays and cache on!
