Is anyone interested in making the Bird to Gird Trek tomorrow (Saturday 8/30/2008) or at least an attempt at MTboys Prelude to an Epic? LBK and I have made two previous attempts and started too late in the day. I was thinking about meeting fro breakfast at iHop on Old Seward at 8:00am and then heading for Penguin Ridge and finally putting an end to MTboys unfound Epic.
If interested let me know here or offline or both. It is a great hike and a very worthy cache attempt.

Changing the date: Saturday September 20, 8:00am Are you interested in starting an Epic? I am going to make another attempt to scratch this cache off the Unfound list. There are 4 caches available to find on this Epic quest and two of them have not been found yet. I am also trying to make this my 1000th find. Are you interested in starting an Epic of your own?

Zoiks!!! Snow is down to "Roots" and "To Infinity and Beyond" this morning. "Fear of the Sky" looks like it got a healthy dose of the white stuff, too. "Epic" is even higher, but I can't see around the corner for a view of what the coastal peaks received.
Have you got a Plan B for #1000?

I went down to Bird Point today after work to get a feel for the mountain. It is prime for a hike. If the weather holds I am going to try and head up on Sunday morning. This will be a 8-11 hour hike. Is anyone interested? This is a great hike and the view is incredible. The Snow on Penguin Ridge Epic Ridge at 5:00pm 9/26/2008 I will be at the CITO Event in the morning.
