Here is my plan. Thursday night we'll have our find Scobey's Puzzle cache and I plan on that being 1000 finds. I have sent out an email to the rest who are close to have it as their party too! I was thinking about getting it all done by Tuesday but it would be more fun with friends.
Remember to meet at Guidos at 6:00PM and we'll go bag that cache.

Rats. My kids have a school function from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. I'll call on my cell to see if you're still drinking beer at Guido's or looking for the cache.
Here are the stats as of tonight: Cache Critter - 991 (he was busy this weekend!) Trove Rover - 987 Oleruns - 976 Whateveryouwant - 956 Malcore - 954

sorry, its my husband's birthday. somehow I don't think caching ranks high on his list of activities. Which Scobey puzzle cache are you going for Ole?

Is the millennium party still on for Thursday night? Or, are we just going to eat good pizza and drink good beer whether someone's ready to milestone or not? Not that anyone should need a good excuse to pursue good pizza and beer.
Current standings are:
Cache Critter - 991 Oleruns - 991 Trove Rover - 991 Whateveryouwant - 969 Malcore - 957

I should still be able to have 999 for the hunt for Scobey's cache and a 1000 party. I have to remember not to put myself on the line like that again You get to a cache you have to DNF, it sure makes you mad You know you would find it if you were not in a hurry.

Is the plan to go through the whole puzzle process, or just to the final cache site? I believe we have the final coords, having done the leg work this past spring, unless the answers changed after we found them. Hmmmm....

The answer to one of the points did change in May so if you figured it out before that you might want to re-read the info for the 'H' coord number.

If things go late enough, anyone interested in running the Blah, Blah, Bleh!!?! and/or Dr. Bleh's Revenge night caches? I know Oleruns and Trove Rover did the first with TT, the MagicMan and others, but it would be a good cache to do as a group. If not tonight, we can make it another "event" later in the fall when it gets dark earlier.

I am interested in Dr Bleh's Revenge. Wait until after the Indian Summer Event for Blah Blah Bleh!! it will be much easier then and it would be really fun for a very large group to do it..right now it could end up being more like 7 hours lost in the woods with no cache find.
I have a meeting tonight (@ Guido's oddly enough), so I cannot make it to the puzzle hunt. But if you go after the night cache, depending on what time it is I am interested in going, I got chased out by two moose last time I went after that one.

I think it's dark enough around 9:00 p.m. to start it, especially since I shook it down on two different evenings in May. Rubber boots would be a good idea.
I'm at school function for my daughters between 7 and 8 with plans to hit Guido's for a bit on the way to the school.

I was thinking that Ole and I should run the Dr Bleh's Revenge to make sure all the tacks are still there and visible. You can go before that happens if you want.

I really don't know what to say! Thanks everyone, I had a blast. Congrats to Trover Rover. I also hear there will be a 400 and 500 milestone party Saturday for Team Roper and AKdogmom. Trove Rover do you think we can get 1100 by then?

WOW! You guys got a Hundred Grand Bar? Congrats Big-Time on cracking the 4-digit barrier!
I was slogging thru the back trails of Kincaid with the poodle pack... checking on stuff for this Saturday's event. *sigh* At least my canine buddies had fun!

;DThat was just awesome! I can't think of a better way to hit 1000 then with friends who enjoy this game as much as I do! To hit the 4 digit club with Ole was the best! I think we've talked about this here an there over the last 300 caches and it was good to actually make it happen. Ole is truly a class act and it was an honor to hit this one with him! CHEERS TO YOU OLERUNS! Here's to another 1000!! Thanx to everyone who came along and shared it with us!
