Congrats on passing the 600 mark. Will we see 700 finds in the first year? Only a couple of weeks to the 1 year mark. What started off as a fun activity on a camping trip has become quite the obsession and rightfully so. Thanks for getting us all hooked. I'm glad to have been out with with you for so many finds. Here's to the next 600, who knows someday I may catch up.

Benchmark hunting - an exercise in accuracy, or best of all a challenging histo-archaeological time-travel geo-puzzle. Both versions let you reach out and touch a datum point on the Earth's surface, measured across three dimensions as well as the planet's gravity and magnetic fields.
