I have been dieing to get started in GeoCach and my sister said that for Christmas this year she was going to buy me a GPS. Well I received her Christmas box yesterday and refused to wait so I opened the box I assumed was the GPS to find a nice TomTom (TomTom One LE) I am assuming there is no way to make this work for what we need but I wanted to ask before trying to find a place who would take it for credit against a hand held unit.

It looks like you can down load coords to it (48 waypoints), I guess it depends how many you want to do?

I would guess that your sister wanted to get you something you wanted and she tried really hard, but gps'ing from your car is not so easy.
I would thank her profusely and sweetly ask her where she bought it and if she has a receipt because you had your eye on one that according to a few folks up here was much easier to use. It looks like Best Buy sells them, so maybe you will luck out and she got it there, then it's an easy exchange.
of course explaining why you opened it early is easy too, since you were so excited about her gift!!!
ps - I hope you sent her something really good!!!!
signed , the shopper, I will return almost anything.....(althouh a friend of mine returned a live Christmas tree last year!!! ha ha ha)
