I've always been a strong Garmin supporter, most likely because of the astonishingly good support I've had as both a dealer and an end-user. The products are solid and, unlike other GPS manufacturers, they don't ignore Alaska as the red-headed step-child of demographics. But now Magellan is launching their Triton 2000, and hello Nurse! My store is strongly considering becoming a Maggie dealer just to be able to provide this product. If you haven't seen it, even if you aren't thinking about buying a new GPS, I recommend checking it out just to ooh and ahh over it. And it's going to support National Geographic Topo (not just in the pretend way that NG keeps saying it's supported)! www.gpsreview.net/magellan-triton-2000/It's so shiny!

I'm sorry but I'm not impressed. Some may want a camera and flashlight but not me.

If they would make one that could be used as a PDA, cell phone and have a pencil holder.
