"Snag This" Anchorage, AK 99501 N 61 13.301 W 149 53.640
Those were the coordinates written on the log
The cacher didn't sign his name on this, and hasn't been found since 2006. I was looking for a place to hide a cache (which I'm soooo still gonna do around there) and I found this magnetic cache just chillin.. Anybody have info about this cache? I would like to adopt it as a maintainer since I am so close I can see it from my office window at the railroad depot.

He stated it was plundered (Sept 20, 2006) and he would replace it. A reviewer finally archived it after not getting any reply from Deke. It was originally located on First Ave near Christensen Drive in Anchorage. I recommend you contact the owner Deke Rivers (go to the cache sheet). Find it by searching under find a cache using the waypoint I mentioned. If you don't get any answer, send an email to the reviewer (PNWadmin) who archived it. Explain you found it and want to adopt it/resurrect it/etc. ;D

WarrenPeace here... wanted to respond to this message to encourage the area you were "developing" with caches near the old "Snag This" It's a neck of the woods here in Anchorage that I entirely enjoy. NorthWes has some sweet caches here too. I know two of yours are currently archived here, but please bring them back!
I'm working on a potential project with AKRR that would put caches or EarthCaches near whistlestops or Spencer Glacier, accessible only by rail.
During a field trip with some of my students (the same day as the whaling commission meetings in Anchorage, my students (clipboards and GPSrs in hand) were stopped by multiple special agents and police officers for suspicious activity.
It all turned out great and no feelings were hurt - we got cool pictures of it all.
Cache on, and thanks for your work to revive this area near AKRR
