Well it was another awesome GeoFest. Buddy the elf was on hand and I was super excited to get a photo op with him. He was all over the room wishing happy holidays to everyone and making wise cracks along the way. Amazing job ftl-ak.
The gift exchange was hilarious, and mamamouse narrating the story made it even better. "then Mr. right and Mrs. left did the happy dance, left, right, left, right, left". What a hoot.
As always, and I think everyone will agree, it's great to get together and be able to see cachers and their families that you don't always get to see, or ever have.
That was the Anchorage fest, how did the others around the state go? What where some of the highlights of the other parties?

It's also time to get newsletter stuff to Cathy. If anyone has photos and stories about any of the holiday events to share, they should send them to editor@geocachealaska.org for the Januray newsletter.

If no one else writes a story, my Event log is pretty comprehensive and has several photos attached to it. Fuzzybelly's log is pretty good, too.
I wrote the Reviewer Corner and a travelogue during my flights on Monday. After I add photos to the travelogue, I'll get both articles shipped off to Cathy prior to the end of the weekend if all goes according to plan.
I recommend pingin AKRud and poodle chic directly to request an article or to have them delegate the duty.
