Fellow Geocachers and Members of GeocacheAlaska! The April 2014 “ Around the State” Newsletter was just published. It is available for direct download from our Newsletter Archive. In it you will find 9 action-packed pages of news and information about geocaching in The Great Land. It’s full of information from our club President, NorthWes, insider information about what’s happening with the GeocacheAlaska! Inc. Board of Directors and our various committees, and some timely cache logging tips from our local Greatland Reviewer. There is a great report from the C.A.C.H.E. Committee about the new cacher recognition activities that are being planned for GeocacheAlaska! members. This month we have a number of Event caching reports from Seward and Anchorage area events during the last month. Again this month is an Alaskan Cacher’s Caching Achievements Top Ten list. This is a new feature in the newsletter where we pull a Top Ten list of Alaskan Cachers or Alaskan Caches based on whatever statistic comes to mind right before the next newsletter goes to press. We hope you’ll enjoy checking out who or what made the cut! As always, all editions of our newsletter are available on our website at www.geocachealaska.org/newsletters.htmThank you to all the members who contributed content to this month’s newsletter and to our Editor down in Homer, the_Firefly, for making it pretty for us. We hope you love the new format. You may send your feedback as well as just about any geocaching-related content to be placed in future editions by emailing it to editor@geocachealaska.org. Anyone is welcome to submit content for your newsletter, so consider writing up a couple paragraphs about a recent caching adventure along with a photo or two or maybe you have some neat tips and tricks to share. Whatever it is, write it up and send it in. We look forward to hearing from you! Warmest Regards, GeocacheAlaska! Inc. Board of Directors
