Tells us how far away your coins or travel bugs are. Presently I have 3 outside the continent.
1. GOcache Kermit (TB) is in Finland 2. Voice of the Arctic (TB) is in New Zealand 3. Appalachian Trail GOcoin (West Virginia) is in Singapore
I also have probably 26 unaccounted coins and a couple TBs (Whereabouts unknown).

Most of my other coins and TBs are dispersed around the country including a couple on mountain caches that will probably remain there for a long time.

I am at about a 50% loss rate so I will not send any more into the wild. Heck, one only made it one cache. I have a couple in California at this time and the rest are still in Alaska.

I have four other TBs out of a total of 20 released that haven't moved in over six months. Top Geocoin TravelersLB Kids' AZ Geocoin #1, Pennsylvania, 7300 miles LB Kids' Dutch Geocoin, Connecticut, 4000 miles, but it just had an MIA note posted LB Kids' GeoNut Geocoin, North Carolina, 3700 miles LB Kids' UK Geocoin #2, Michigan, 3500 miles LB Kids' GU Geocoin, Maine, 3200 miles One thing I do to increase TB and geocoin longevity is I put a mission tag (small laminated instruction sheet) on each. I add additional language to the coins, pointing out that they are to be logged like a TB. I started doing that after a cacher wrote me asking what to do with a coin of mine they found. Then, another cacher asked me at an event when is it okay to keep a geocoin, to which I replied, "Never" unless the coin is unactivated and specifically identified as a cache prize. At that point, I realized that many coin disappearances are probably due to cachers not knowing what to do with them more than conscious theft. There is a pinned topic in the geocaching.com forums that has some additional longevity tips: Snoogans' Tb Longevity Clinic
