Come one come all!! For the launching of the GeoCache Express Outhouse. There was a melting of minds and an incredible sled a.k.a. outhouse has been built. The race is downtown 4th and D after the sled dog racers go out about 2:30p.m.. Come cheer Meljo, FrostG1ant, OMGCrew, 1/2 Hixfromthestix and FloridaBoy on. This should prove to be quite entertaining. So come out and see the race. .

I hope everyone can come downtown and cheer on our team as we race for the championship. Come log out TB Outhouse and join in the fun. Even though this is a non-event (only in that it is not loggable) there will be prizes and swag to be awarded to some of the lucky geocachers in attendance. We have several new unactivated coins to give away. I hope to see you all at the Rendezvous! Cache On!

Don't forget to wear your rondy pins so the rondy police don't arrest you. Or maybe you can get someone to trade a rondy pin for a geocaching pin! Come have some fun and watch as I hang on to the outhouse as these crazy cachers all wanting to be FTF push me down 4th ave.

Thank you to everyone who came out to cheer us on today. Your support was great. We were able to take home a 2nd place trophy for the Unlimited division and a 3rd place trophy for the overall contest. This was a whole lot of fun and was a great way to finish, even if we were running with two broken skis and a seriously split frame. Thank you to all of the noble runners, you all pushed like champions: Hixfromthestix, Deke Rivers, OMGCrew, oleruns, FloridaBoy, and myself. A HUGE thank you and hurray for the bravest, most amazing cadet in our troop, our truly fearless and feisty driver meljo. She took care of the ship when all those nasty pirates attempted to board us. Thank you to Hixfromthestix for putting together the Non-event and to eagle618 for providing some awesome swag for giveaways to the lucky cachers in attendance. My personal thank you to Malcore who totted around my cache bag and video camera all day getting some stellar video footage of the race...and probably a very sore back as my cache bag today was loaded...laptop, video camera, tripod, spare camera lens among cache repair gear, tools, TBs and pre-made caches, thank you for really putting your back into for our team. Thank you to lemurlad who took the field as official race photographer and who got some great shots. I hope you liked my camera and it helped influence your purchasing decision.
The GeoCache Express may have run her last competitive race but watch your email for a chance to visit her in the Great Outdoors. The sled itself is a TB and has been logged by a couple already. Watch for the return of our fighting troop next year as the plans for the next sled have already started circulating.
Thanks again for coming out and sharing in a fabulous day with us. It was so much fun and we almost swept the entire field...perhaps next year. I hope to see you on the trails. Cache On!

What a blast! Thanks so much for having me along guys. This old man probably won't be able to get out of bed in the morning, but I'll still be grinning. We alternated between six runners with exception of the man, FrostG1anT! He ran every stinkin race!! With Meljo mushing us, the team was dang near unstoppable. It was really cool for lots of buds to be there supporting the team. I thought I was hallucinating when AkWhodini emerged from the crowd! All the Geobuds there were part of the team too. It was a great day and one memorable Rondy. Thanks again!!

I had lots of fun watching the team making there runs. I think thats the most laughing I have done in a long time. I hope some of the video I was able to take turns out, although with the shaking of the camera from the laughing I don't know. You all did a great job. And I think thats the fastest TB I have ever seen.

This was a great way to spend part of a Saturday afternoon. I love fur rondy, outhouse races, and what a team we have! Great job all the way around. There were some great advertisements for geocaching along the way as well. Thanks Eagle618 for the swag. Fun to be out with the geo crowd today. I can't wait to see next year's race. I think you're all primed!

Congratulations Everyone! I wish I could have been there for the fun, but I was pinned down at work until after 6:00 p.m. It's great to see how geocaching has brought so many people together that can have fun doing most everything.
Kudos to FrostG1anT for organizing the effort!

Great Job fellow cachers! Wish I could have been there to cheer, but ended up working both days this weekend. Was glad to see the pictures! (p.s. the work paid off! We did very well!) Still managed to grab a few caches Sunday after work though my caching senses were starting to cloud my weekend work!

You guys going to try out as pushers for the US Bobsled team next?
I had no idea Outhouse Racing was a contact sport. My respect for Meljo grew by leaps and bounds with each heat I watched. Looks like full body armor and a helmet will be on the passenger's list next year.
I'll never buy another beer at Humpy's...
Congratulations, all!!!
