As many of you know, our good friend, Alaskan Bev, is a well renowned literary author. And one of her most popular writings has just been published.
It's about a great adventure, and the fun, little young ones have, learning about geocaching. They have lots of fun searching, and get to trade an item when they find the treasure.
It's a great gift for a niece or nephew who might get interested in geocaching.
Some had already shown interest in getting a copy or two.
Blazingpathways and myself(fuzzybelly) are helping Alaskan Bev with this.
Please let us know, either on this forum page, or, individually, if you where wanting a copy.( I think around $25)

And how does one find this book? Is it at the store or online or what?

It is not in book stores, nor will it be. She wrote this book with her family and had only a limited number of them published.
It's a wonderful, large hardback children's book with pictures.
She can get more published if needed, but she had intended it to be for friends and family, then Blazingpathways and myself fell in love with it and started talking it up, and found that others where interested in it too.
There may be an upcoming event featuring the author and her book.

Perhaps a BOD discussion with her about making the book available through the GeAK store, if she's willing. Something to think about anyway.

That is a great idea. Would love a copy for my grandkids (2 and 4) who already know about geacaching and love it

I just heard from the author. She will be attending Thursday nights Pi-2 event, and she will bring a book for people to see. You may even be able to get an autograph

I have ordered 3 books from Bev for my grandkids. Did anyone see Bev or the books at the Pi-2 event?

I emailed Bev yesterday and there is a small issue ... the publisher went out of business and didn't ship her second order. She is considering whether to republish with someone else.

I would take one book, but only if there is enough for other people who want it for children.....
Now don't anyone go there either:)
