I recently received an email stating that my native american geocoin had been dropped in WI. That wouldn't be too unusual...outside of the fact that all my coins go missing...but it has been stuck in calf burner since i went up there with herk LAST summer. Nobody ventured up to the cache since then. Well, it sounds like Ole made an attempt...but to allow him to save face we won't count that one... . The person finding the coin was suprised to see it as it was listed in AK. I happened to be going up to the area of the cache anyway on a training mission...and so i stopped by. (by the way ole, the snow is not burying it yet...and the cache is in good shape! check your coords). I was the last person to sign the log. So not only did these masked bandits take my coin, they didn't sign either log. Calf Burner is not an easy cache to get... Some things i will never know. Just thought i would share that fun little story.

That's one reason not to log your dnfs - powmia has had a bunch of fun with missing coins too.
