Will someone please forward the homeless stuff melting out of the snow at Yellow Submarine N61* 12.808 W149* 54.243, the corner of 9th and L, in the trees behind the Delaney Park sign, to the person who was heading up the campaign to clean up the camps? I know it isn't much of a camp and hasn't been used for a while (there were no footprints around the trees when I placed the camp and I didn't noticed the gear) but I don't feel comfortable about just moving it myself.

I am not part of the homeless camp campaign but I go can there with you to help you clean up that area. I wasn't feeling comfortable of doing it at 1am when I cache dit however sometime in the daylight works for me. Maybe if the stuff is still good we can take it to bean's cafe....or would that be encouraging the matter? just message me on geocaching.com. AKBFLY....amy

Don't try to clean up a homeless camp. There are nasty things in there you could get stuck with. I will send in the coords to the people who need to know. Or you can submit a claim on the muni Trailwatch program site. Let me know if you don't do it on the website.
Thanks a million - Ole

I reported two illegal camp locations today. 1. South end of Cuddy Park, just south of the speed skating oval. There are several tent sites in various states of disarray and use. WGS84 coordinates are: N61° 10.959', W149° 52.929' 2. Very large tent and rain tarp homestead that is currently being lived in. Easiest access is from Hartzell Road, south of Lore Road. WGS84 coordinates are: N61° 09.023, W149° 51.046'. Please, help get our parks back and report illegal camps to the Trail Watch Program ( link) or the Anchorage Police Department.
