Cool! I finally got a minute to create my account and get registered.
Looks like I need to get an avatar uploaded and tinker with some other things, but we're up and running.
Thanks, Scobey!

Yes i was one of the those extended in the 172d SBCT. We still don't know when we are coming home. Its frustrating seeing other divisions going home before us. I watched the 101st and 4thID arrive in Iraq and now I am watching them go home.
I saw a Private the other day from the 172d with a T shirt that said "I did my year, now I am doing yours" I laughed and kept walking.
Hopfully we will all be home by Christmas.

I can't remember what the picture said but it was something like this: On the window of a dirty Humvee in Iraq "Two weeks a year and one weekend a month.... my A**" Thanks for your service! I still fight back tears when I see someone in uniform, you are all heros in my book. Hope to see you home soon! Ole

I have a doula client who planned her birth for shortly after her husband arrived home. He'll miss it now due to the extension. It's heartbreaking.

Great job (as always ) - thanks, Scobey! I've been away from internet for about a week, and can't wait to browse thru this forum. The photos over on one thread are awesome - already checked that one out.
