Here they are, the first run of the sample graphics I made today. I am working on getting T-shirts made for Indian Summer, does anyone know a silk screener who would give us a good deal?

AKDogMom researched this awhile back. I recommend touching base with her. Nice graphics...do you want me to add either to the the GeocacheAlaska! artwork page for others to use?

You could give Alaska Serigraphics a call. they are on Abbott Road, directly behind karma's cache Akemet to the Resuce - GC145XB.
I know the owner, David Powers. But I am not sure they can do something that quickly. But they do have a lot of selection, you may find something they have in stock. happy shopping!

I just deleted all that info a couple weeks ago. But if I remember correctly the cheapest we could get shirts was in the 17 - 20 dollar range. I was thinking about looking into some of the do it yourself iron on programs. Not nearly as cool but a lot cheaper for just a few shirts. I personally am willing to pay $20 for a shirt, but we have to make a full run and someone has to fork out all the money upfront which potentially leaves you with a bunch of shirts you can't get rid of. I checked with Dooley's, AK Serigraphics, Stellar Designs, and an outside company when I was looking into it last winter.
I love the artwork.

Thanks for the tip on AK Serigraphics. I have a long relationship with them as many years ago they worked very hard to give a group I belong to a fair deal, but that deal became more expensive than off the street at any place else in town in the end, so unless someone has some serious pull with the owner or we were looking at embroidering and they gave a us a good work-up, I tend to shy away from them for silk screening.
If I had the time I would just make the screen and pull the shirts myself as screening is a very simple process, and I made sure that these designs are a true one color pull specifically for a single screen process (the green border on the one is just so it could be used as a web button if folks wanted to).

These can be added to the art page, if you want I can change/modify them to be better web buttons (make the text bigger on the flag and I can add text to the silhouette and make it smaller). I just threw these out as I was working on them and wanted to get opinions before I went and had shirts made up.
I think I am going to have a general run of shirts made, either black ink on a white shirt or white ink on a black shirt, I will have them made in limited sizes, such as L, XL, XXL and that way I won't be stuck with a bunch of extra product. I just need to find a place to cut the screens and give me a fair price on the product so the shirt comes in a fair price.
Ideas, thoughts, suggestions are welcome, thanks.

Bumps elbow of artist... Flag: make the bottom text the www.geocachealaska.org url (I think it would fit if dropped and run under the panhandle). Cacher: Very striking...not sure how to add text without detracting from it. Could try the url or your "Discovering" tagline from the flag icon or "Exploring Alaska One Cache At A Time" from the geocoins.

Just my 2 cents worth, but black shirts would be better than white, akteamroper put on a nice fresh white shirt before we headed out yesterday, ummmm, it was black when we were done caching. Besides, black is supposed to be slimming, ;D

might look into raven screens, sub zero graphics, or great alaska shirt company in fairbanks. seemed to me gasc was really inexpensive and had a fast turn around. i vote for logo on back with small one on front left chest patch.

One vote black, two if you count mine (white print for the graphics (or hot pink...whaddya think, ole look good in pink?...I think I'll stick with white on black, good contrast and not harsh as yellow would be)). Any sizes people are preferential too? Other wise I am going to order L, XL, XXL...if you want to guarantee a shirt and the proper size, let me know soon and I will make sure they are there for you. I am looking to keep the shirts at $20 or less.

i vote for logo on back with small one on front left chest patch. The shirts will be the flag on the front, sans green box with coords for the Abbott Loop Community Park, the date of the event and "Indian Summer" and the back will be the cacher with the geocachealaska.org url

Found a place online www.expertshirt.com that looks like it might be really cheap. Did a rough quote with front and back single color printing on Jerzee 50/50 shirts and quote came back in the $7 each range, that is about 1/4 the price locally.

It's the Rhino 120 that gives it away!

It's the Rhino 120 that gives it away! Or the silhouette of ultimate manliness. At first I thought it was a pro wrestler with a GPS. I swear.

But I always have Ole in my shirt and underwear too! I'd do something about that. I hear Ole has "wandering hands."
