I know LBK hit #2300 at 10,000 feet today. Just need to call him and see where that was. I didn't know Alaska Airlines would stop for caches! ;D
Great job LBK!!!!

Thanks, Scobey! I owe FrostG1anT thanks, too, for doing a cache look-up for me while I was on the trail above Silver Plume/Georgetown I-70 west of Denver. My GPS had a Chicken000 cache in it, but my PDA didn't. Once he gave me the name of the cache, Chicken 5: Rhode Island Red @ 10,000 feet, it made perfect sense to make it a milestone even if my hurting head was telling me that going from sea level to 10,000 feet in only about thirteen hours on about three hours of sleep wasn't necessarily the best idea. It was clear and sunny with a little snow on the ground, just like Anchorage, but about about thirty degrees warmer when the sun was still out. The amazing thing to me was that even at 10,000 feet, there are still several DOZEN peaks in Colorado that reach more than 4000 feet higher. If you ever get to visit the area, the "Chicken series" and others are a great way to explore the old silver mining roads and see a lot of mining camp ruins.

leave it to you, LBK, to find a milestone cache at 10,000 ft. Congratulations! You'll have to figure out a virtual cache at 25,000 for your #2500

LOL, oh no, I've got it all planned out for LBK. But it requires placing a cache at the summit of Mt. Everest... I've been thinking about calling it "Mt. Everest Blues" or "Mallory's Revenge". ;D Now how to get the cache up there and get coords without having to go there myself....
