Kudos to Ridgeseeker and the goat whisperer...they logged the "what is that anyway" cache on penguin ridge saturday...no small undertaking in winter conditions. Looks like the window was good, 16 inches of fresh powder on top of a nice hoar frost layer Monday will seal it up with avalanche danger for awhile. Anyway, good job fellas...

You can check out the log and excellent photos here. Rumor has it that the bowl below whatever it is is most excellent for telemark skiing in the springtime for those thinking of a winter attempt.

Yet another stunning set of photos... Kudos to the highclimbing crew! Poor Tucker - no one equipped him with an ice ax! I swear just about any Ridgeseeker cache log photo could be an award-winner banner photo on the top of the geocaching.com page, but this winter shot with the Seward Highway along Turnagain Arm in the background (a few thousand feet below!) is an instant classic...

Kudos on an awesome adventure cache. This has to be one of my favorite hikes of all time. To tackle it in the winter is pretty crazy. Congratulations on a grand wintertime adventure. This is one I would love to go back to.
