Need some help posting photos on this forum and the geocaching forum as well. The geocaching web page forum probably has topic help, but that listing is so big and confusing that I get no help. I want to know how post a pic in the forum topics. For instance if you look at my thread in benchmark you can see I wanted to post a pic but don't have a clue. Apparently you have to use a photo posting service. There are couple free ones out there.

I just upload the pics to GC.com then link to them there.
I could come up with a brief tutorial later tonight.

LBK put up a how to a while back. If you go to the Pictures page there is a link to all the how-tos already made. Basically if a photo is published on the Internet and you have the fully qualified address to it, just click on the insert image icon in the forum builder page and paste the full picture name in between the open and close img brackets....then automagically it will appear in your forum post.
I hope this helps

You have to upload your photo somewhere on a website other than the forum site. You can use a photo posting site like photo bucket or you can upload your photo to the cache page or benchmark page or your profile page on geocaching.com. Once you have your photo(s) uploaded, click on the photo to get the photo's url (web address). Copy the url by clicking on the address bar of your browser and doing a Control-C or Right Mouse Click, Copy command. Go to the forum page, open a post and insert your photo this way: ["img]url[/img"] without the quotations, where "url" is the photo's url inserted with a Control-V or Right Mouse Click, Paste command. Here's the link to my earlier post referenced by FrostG1anT. Powmia was able to post a photo using those abbreviated instructions...
