Has anyone heard of Terracaching? I like the idea, but there aren't many caches on the website. The goal is to have only quality caches on the website. Unfortunately, there are only two anywhere near Anchorage, one at Hatcher Pass.

I checked out the Terracaching site but didn't like the odds, at least not here at home. I do like the concept though.

Terracaching's a website designed to encourage caches with a higher degree of selectivity in placement locations (generally out in the back country). Folks like mtboy, sir_climbsalot and ridgeseeker (and many others of us here in Alaska) have outstanding caches in similar locations that offer similar challenges.
I'm not at all in any way opposed to terracaching, but I get all I the caching opportunities I need right off geocaching.com!

I agree - it is a good idea but there are plenty of quality caches on the geocaching.com website.

By the way - two new caches on the terracaching website in the Eagle River Valley.
