I'm wondering if anyone has ever put together any kind of list of a good, logical, least amount of total travel, to do all of the caches in Kincaid park, say, starting from the main chalet?
I was thinking about spending a couple evenings out there chasing down caches. I've already done a few of them -- 4 to be exact -- And on a recent query, I came up with 35 total.
Just wondering if anyone has any ideas to ease my adventure a little bit?
THanks,
Stripes

I'm wondering if anyone has ever put together any kind of list of a good, logical, least amount of total travel, to do all of the caches in Kincaid park, say, starting from the main chalet? I put together a route once for another cacher, it all depends how much time you have in a single stretch of time and where you park. If you had all day and you parked at Jodphur park you could get all of them in one very long day. If you want to break it up into a couple not intense evenings of fun you could try starting with Pluto (GCZNG1), Toben's Tumble (GCVJ4M), Don't Shoot (GC12P3M), Serenity View (GCNGKC), CITO-n-GO#2 (GC12FVQ), Cook's Nook (GCA4D), South Beach Anchoage (GCQW8Y), Nome? (GC13VN0), W00t Cache #1 (GCG111), CITO-n-GO#3 (GC12FVR), Swords into Ploughshares (1st part)(GCNPAP), Make 7 (GC12CPZ) for the finish of the day. Another day: Dark Alley (GCVJ4K), Morse Monkey's Revenge--Curse of the Swamp Monster (GCXEPY) (it is missing right now), Eagle View (GCNGK2), The Duck Pond (GC12EP9), CITO-n-GO#4 (GC12FVG), Nothin' Fancy (GC13M3N), Relay for Life (GCK4CN), Swing Time (GC13VKG), while in here work on the earthcache Kincaid Park's Kame and Kettle Topography (GC11JQ3), start the multi The Death Of Sherlock Holmes # 1 (GC13F3Y), do the puzzle SUDOKU (GCT1NF) so you can finish it on a different day, Anti-gravity (GC13ECK), Lost Power (GC13M57) and then walk or ride back to the Chalet, this trek would be best on a bike. Another day start with Which Way? (GCHZ9J) the first stage is very tricky to find, but there is an alternate way to find it if you are creative, then Please, Don't Drink and Drive (GC13XAX), and finish the earthcache, then Geo-Exercise (GCKKEJ) if the new grass hasn't taken hold you will have to wait on this one as part of it will destroy the new vegatation, Herbie's Cousin (GCGQAZ) and call it a day or try for all the Jodphur park hides. Jodphur Days: Kincaid Park's Eolian Landscape - Cliff Head Dune (GC11JQ6), Jodphur Park (GCPNYN), Xmas in May? (GC12VHV), Moto Cache (GCG7TX), and Tobben's Turn (GCVQ8T). This should get you most of the Kincaid Park Caches and lots of exercise. Cache On!

ARGH!!! Next time I ask a question on this board, I will know to check back before I go to cache that area. As I review the time you made this excellent post, I see it coincided with the publication of a new cache last night, which I rushed off to right after work. But, I did go home, eat some dinner, grab my brother, and dump my Kincaid PQ into my Palm Pilot before heading off to Kincaid.
It wasn't until early this morning that I logged back into the board and saw what you had responded with. I did manage to get 5 last night in about an hour and a half. Perhaps a little more familiarity with the trail system would have come in handy to make it easier to navigate my way around there, but oh well.
Again, thanks for the response. I'll use some of it in the future.

It's hard to keep kincaid clearded out. I think there are three or four placed there after I had it clearded out. I still have a goal of getting the Anchorage bowl completed and I still have about 10 to go.
So I guess, get used to it with Kincaid ;D and Campbell Airstrip.

Only 10 to go in the Anchorage Bowl? Not too shabby!! Guess you'll have to venture on down to the Kenai Peninsula next.

That's in the plans! on another issue - I placed 8 caches over 5 miles last night, I was called for putting out a "Power Trail". Tonight I will fix the problem and hope that a couple multi caches will take care of the "power trail". So be ready everyone!
