I have downloaded GSAK 7.0 and paid the $15.00 for the upgrade. Seems Clyde is tired of the free upgrades. You can get more upgrades from 7.0 for free but I bet 8.0 will not be free. That's all fine by me, it's an awesome program. It seems to work just fine and it looks close to the old one so there will not be a big learning curve, I like that a lot. Some new features to play with. Have fun - Ole

GSAK 7.0 has a flaw with the permenent deleted logs, it would reload them. the fix is available at the web site, 7.0.1

I am not sure if people are downloading all the changes to GSAK or if I am the only one. Anyway, I started beta testing vs. 7.1.0.38 Yes, you need to have 7.1.0.37 first ;D The point is, you can build a cool profile page with macros in GSAK - check out my profile stat www.geocaching.com/profile/?guid=0c685460-3ea0-4852-b749-fa68c9de7e12maybe a 301 class on macros? or we can sit around and eat paste for us super geeks ;D

This is a cool stat:Total cache-to-cache distance: 48331 Miles, Note: excludes locationless caches.

That would be easier than dipping coins in every cache!! I use GSAK everyday, I don't like anything that says "Beta". Can you modify what shows up on your page, or do you have to have ALL that?? Where is the number of FTF's??

Yes you can make changes. FTFs I am working on, I think there is a bug in the macro or the way I have to identify them.

Can you make the stats without paying for the upgrade?
If so, how do you make them?

You can download google maps to your PDA from the google website. Google "google maps" for the url. It is REALLY cool if you have a PDA GPS or a bluetooth GPS!!!

I knew you could download MSWord and Excel to an iPod. It never occured to me to try GSAK. I'll have to give that a try!
