mine iz a magellan meridian platinum. i like it alot. mostly the reason i bought it was because it had an expansion slot to add a memory card. to me this alwayz means more options when my capacity gets full all i have to do is plug in a different card. sure the garmins are far more popular and sometimes i thinks that they read a little different than a magellan. but i like it none the less, gotta lookout for number one ya knoe. gotta admit i dont know how well a garmin manages its memory, but its always good to have options. sometimes i wished i had a pda rather than targeting caches and printing the pages out, been had too many times blind caching. yah been to a site a coupla times and then find out the orig coordz are bogus (puzzle cache). maybe sometime in the future.
penny for my thoughts?, i'll givya my 2¢ worth. advice is cheap. if not freeeeeeeeee!

Garmin eTrex Legend Cx with 1gb card, Topo and City Navigator, plus an old Pocket PC using GPXView for paperless caching. Thinking about getting a Smart Phone but not sure I want that brick for a phone when not caching.

Back last winter I purchased a highway navigation system for my Palm Tungsten T5. It came with a bluetooth GPSr. The highway package was OK... very nice in Anchorage, but not so hot elsewhere... the maps have major problems. Anyway, the bluetooth interface is standardized, so there are a number of palm applications that will process the receiver's data stream and offer functionality as a GPS. I purchased GeoNiche, and it works like a charm. This is a completely paperless solution, and all of the cache text information is available on the same screen while using the GPS functions... including decoding the hint.
From a functionality perspective, it would be difficult to beat this, especially since the application is optimized for geocaching. However, the palm pilot is more fragile than I would like (so what if the case is stainless steel, the screen is a touch screen), and "the puck" (the receiver itself) is rather small and separate. I generally place the puck under my hat, and carry the palm in my pocket. It sounds an alarm when I get within a certain range.
All in all I am really happy with it.

My latest addition: A Garmin Nuvi 660 navigator. It looks about the same as a previously posted photo of a Nuvi 350. The screen is a bit larger (4.25" diag) on the 660.
By the time I have Mr. Tahoe and the travel trailer fully equipped, quit working, and want to head to the lower states, I will not have enough funds for fuel.
Got a personal plate for the travel trailer.........."TOAD".
