Sundays work great...I don't know what day winter solstice is on this year but that would be a memorable experience. Thoughts?

Solstice is Saturday, December 22 this year.
I kinda prefer tying knots my life depends on with warm fingers, but if the weather is nice, I'll go for it.

We talked about Sunday morning..Ole are you planning on tomorrow? Or were you hoping for later this month? LBK, if you are worried about knots, i will get out of my truck long enough to tie it for you:)

Wow - great photos! Definitely banner-top material for geocaching.com... and it adds luster to the All-Weather Year-'Round reputation Alaska's cachers are known for! Having said all that, I'm gonna hang out for warmer weather & put my son-in-law's climbing skills to the test for this one. Great father-son bonding time, eh? Talk about trust... If it's warm, Mrs NW will come along for the fun - she's rappelled here before as well.
