There are 4 dnfs on this cache and I am one of them Anyone want to team up on Thursday 5:30PM and give this one a shot? I would be cool to have someone alone who has found it before to laugh at us while we look and to be sure it's still there.

We're in, we are among the DNF's but don't know if we logged it that way. Why do we have to wait until Thursday?

I wanted to do it faster but I wanted to get a bunch of people there for more fun. That was my thinking anyway. Yep, I am still streaking but it may end pretty soon if I get Anchorage cleaned out. I still have two puzzles left, Rooster and Scobey's 221 drive all over town puzzle (we could search party that one ) Pizza and beer after?

oh that dang Rooster, do you want to compare notes? mine are around her somewhere. I think frosty has his own personal music collection and we will never figure it out. Are you still talking Thursday? is that your birthday or something?

Can't help you with Rooster as I was FTF on it (or maybe that means I can help you ) but would love to do the 221 drive all over town. And anything that ends in beer and pizza you can count me in on. I think Scobey should be holding the table at Moose's Tooth for us when we are done with the pitchers on the table. Will see you Thursday.

Thursday the Sixth of September at 5:30pm?
I'll see if I can get off work on time - I've dnf'd this one too! Not interested in the puzzle chase; I'm puzzled enough most of the time without chasing the ones fiendishly devised by Scobey...

I might be willing to trade "Repentent Coin Thief" info. for "Red Rooster" info.

Wow... so much beer flowing - and that's just in the forum... good thing some of us will be within walking distance of our home coordinates, eh?
As a teetotaler, I'll offer up designated driver rides... Of course, Mrs NorthWes sets my commercial services rate schedule. I'm sure she'll view this as an excellent opportunity for recovering costs associated with my caching habit... a taxi might be cheaper!

I'm going to try to drag Flyrfn out there, depending on how he feels after his visit to the back doc, who may put him, temporarily, in more pain than he's in now. We'll see... don't hold up the search party, though.

Tell him to get better! I have been there just have not found the cache and it's not a hike, maybe .10 and we'll have plenty of hands to pick up the container we could use his eyes.

More like 100 feet. What direction were you coming from?

More like 100 feet. What direction were you coming from? AHA! We locals to the area (omgcrew & I) access this little trail from the north side of Chinook Elementary, which is reached by going north one block on Blackberry from the Four-Way Stop at 88th Avenue; upon reaching 86th (yeah, I know - what happened to 85th?) turn east and drive over a block and a half to the back parking area at Chinook Elementary School. The trail heads north as an 'extension' of Dewberry (which, despite what your mapping software may say, no longer exists between 88th and 86th Avenues), and the trail ends to the north at the corner of 84th and Dewberry. The cache is about a hundred feet north of the southern end of the trail at 86th Avenue & the parking area.

Thanks for waiting and I am very sorry I was late. I forget how long it takes to go down Tudor at 5:00 sometimes. (most of the time) Anyway Flyrfn with the big find!
