We have officially published the races for this summer! I would love to see the geocaching community continue to be active members in the adventure racing community.
Last year nearly all of my volunteers were geocaching members and I received many comments about how great they were.
This year, I would like to see some RACERS!!
If there is enough interest...i will do a geocaching event to do a training on orienteering and adventure racing strategy as the summer gets closer.
The women rock race will be a lot of fun...we had fifty women in the last one. It is a score format...meaning you get to as many checkpoints as you can. If you aren't in the best shape of your life it really doesn't matter. The race will be basically in the Mirror Lake/ Beach Lake area.
Team Geocache Alaska, do you exist? Sorry Ole, but this one is for women only. However, you can volunteer.
The 24 hour race is in Seward. We will be utilizing Ridgeseeker's home turf...
Volunteering for those races is a ton of fun. Racing is fun too but a lot of work.
Let me know if you are interested. Here is the schedule!
