I was wondering if anyone had run pocket queries for the area Tok to Haines To Skagway, To Whitehorse and Dawson and then back to Tok? i am getting ready to head out on a road trip to these areas.

Do you use GSAK? That is the easiest way, since you can just draw your exact route using a mapping tool.
If you don't use GSAK, then try using the caching along a route filter on GC.com

Thank-You. I haven't gotten into GSAK yet but hope to at some point. When I opened up "find caches along a route" in the pocket query section of gc.com and put in my area ( ie Haines), I was surprised to see pocket queries for that area . All I had to do was choose my filters- it was much easier than I thought.
Next question: Is there a way to save the pocket query offline?

Yes. Do you use a GPS or a smartphone for caching? The methods are different.
Once you have Created your Route (or used someone's already created route), pick the option to make a pocket query from the route. It will then give you a pocket query build screen to set the particulars. When doing a route, a key part is the width of the route. That is one of the first slider buttons on the PQ builder. Ssy that you don't want to wander more than 1 mile from the highway; slide the button left until it is set to about 1 mile. If you're willing to venture further off the main highway, slide it to the right. The wider your track, the more caches you'll get.
Go through and pick the usual settings related to cache types, D/T ratings, attributes, etc. When you're done, save the PQ. You can now click the preview button and get a sample of what caches it will return. If the file size is maxed out (1000), then you'll need to adjust the query details to be more restrictive, or break your route into multiple legs with separate PQs.
Once your PQ settings look right, set a date for it to run. After the PQ has run on the selected day, you have two ways to use it. Either use your smartphone with the GC app to directly load the PQ to your phone, or download the PQ and then load it into your GPS. The method there varies by GPS device.
