Thank you everyone for coming out to Palmer for a couple of geocache events. The first one WWFM IV, was very well attended for being at 900 in the morning. The temperature/clock down the street said -45, it sure felt that cold, but I dont think so.
There was 30 people attending the event and everyone walked/ran/scurried away with something. Congrats to following winners:
DR-AK FTF Geocoin Cache_Hawk Two Bisons Lunchlady4495 Ammo Can FrostG1ant Ammo Can Toepunch Ammo Can AKMICP Ammo Can Ayay D Ammo Can
The next event was on 11 Nov, Veterans Day. Seventeen TB's were released on that day at 1100 from the location of Sign of the Times in Palmer. This TB Race is from Palmer to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington Cemetery.
Everyone was excited about the event, but the main topic was, "Will they make it out of Alaska". Each of us cross our fingers.
Well, again thank you everyone for attending and for those that did not attend, look for WWFM V in Palmer. It will be in the Spring.
Cache On!!

Thank you, Kevin, for hosting two fine events!!!
It's great to see a new name/face taking the initiative to hold events which bring cachers together!
