Hello, Nate grumby here... I have received the infamous orbited geocoin back from NASA with certificate, mission patch, etc., and am mounting it in a display case for geo-events. CRAKE productions, in the form of Chris Rake, just announced a new geocoin in the Groundspeak Forums, as follows: "On Feb 7 an Astrolabe geocoin was launched into orbit and traveled over 200 orbits for 5 million miles. In celebration of this event I've created a special Astrolabe which will be made available in May. I have a few die tweaks to make, including some additional texture in the background on the front, but in the meantime, here are some pretty pictures." And here it is! To my knowledge, it is the first geocoin with a representation of a shuttle launch. Very cool. Look for several of these to find their way into Alaskan geocaches this summer.

Now thats a lot of miles on a geocoin. It would be neat if groundspeak would some how be able to show the miles travled in the coins profile page. I dought there will be a coin ever again to go that far.
