Scobey recommended I make a list of unfound caches in the Anchorage Bowl that other cachers could see and recommend the easiest to find. I modified to ones that are nearby. Here is a link: Knappling's To-Find List I would appreciate any recommendations on this thread of the seven caches from the list or others recommended on the east side of town that are easiest to find based on: 1. this time of year 2. time to get to the cache location 3. accessability Also, I want #200 to be a night cache - Operation Blue Moon or Mission Impossible. Which is easier with all the snow on the trees? I am going to try to get to 199 tommorrow so the sooner the better. Thanks!

When you finish you will be in the area for "for powmia". If you want to snowshoe to "for powmia", let me know, I will go with you. I haven't found anyone to shoe to that one with yet.

I would appreciate any recommendations on this thread of the seven caches From recent experience (I found it quickly in the snow) or personal knowledge (I hid it), these caches from your list should be good finds and are less than five minutes from parking: Seeking Susitna Tour de Fairbanks #1 EARTH - Our little home Minus 6 I have recent (in the last week) DNFs on: 400 days Brown Bear Encounter in Anchorage Cache Johnson Memorial Park R U Barking Up The Wrong Tree? Camo coffee would be a challenge w/o shovel and metal detector. Either Mission: Impossible or Blue Moon should be doable. The terrain is flatter for Blue Moon. I have not hunted the other caches on your list.

Easy winter finds to me would be:
Snowshoe devil (quick walk, ski, shoe across lake) NorthWes fishing for a bison (just a few feet off groomed trails) Minus 6 Seeking Susitna (right on trail) Earth (on sidewalk) Tour de Fairbanks 1 (off a groomed trail) Brown bear (off a groomed trail)

Brother Knapp is not the only one needing caches. I am so far behind in keeping up with finding the number of local caches being placed that if I get any further behind I will be able to catch up with myself on the return.

I have made it to 197 today - thanks for the help. My last three will be Surveyor, powmia adventure cache, and Mission: Impossible.
