We have 5 unfilled Educational Events (Eduvents) to deliver this year. They will be held on Thursday evenings at 7pm on April 14, May 26, September 29, October 27, and November 17.
Of the items listed in this poll, please select your preferred 5 topics. If you have ideas for something not listed, post it in this thread for discussion.
Thanks for participating! ;D

Still accepting votes in this poll. We pulled GPSr Operations for the last EduVent and the next one (May 26) will be on Earth Caching by NorthWes. We have 3 more EduVents to plan and deliver in the Fall; Sept, Oct, & Nov. Any input is appreciated!

Going off our limited responses above (you can still vote), I'm tenatively lining up this Fall's EduVent schedule as follows...
September 29 - Cache Hunting; including cache pack contents and tips for finding difficult caches
October 27 - Building and solving puzzles and multi's
November 17 - Something with GSAK and/or GC.com features
These are still wide open for comment and revision.
A primer for using HTML in cache listings is being built for distribution via the GeocacheAlaska! Newsletter. Stay tuned to see that come out this summer!

Thread bump. Any input on EduVent topics is always appreciated. I'm into the development process for the September EduVent and looking for interested presenters as well as remote sites who would like to dial in. Post, PM, or email me! sso.joat@gmail.com ;D

November 17th's EduVent is now into the development slot. We need a presenter and to finalize the topic list. Requests for more GSAK topics is on the table as well as a detailed overview of all this year's changes to the Geocaching.com website with the host of new features. Suggestions welcome... as are volunteers to present the topic. We'd love to have some new voices out there, even if you just want to tag-team the presentation with one of our Anchorage-based regulars!
