I HATE ELECTRONIC COMPASS'S! we're following the arrow but I think the cache is back that way! Did you calibrate this thing when you changed the batteries?

Even with all this hi-tech gadgetry we still can't beat Malcore to a cache.

So Spock, you think that blue lady at the CITO event thinks I look hot in these black pants?

No Spock, Crow T Robot the cache approver isn't an Echo papa 607 killer drone! I know Crow T Robot, and you're no Crow T Robot. You look more like a Blue Man!

"Jim, just look what this new Magellan can do, it makes coffee, plays video disks, has a satellite telephone, a voice recorder, a pop-up tent with cook stove, self illuminated multi-spectrum light source and runs on solar power with a back up hand crank." "But Spock, look at that thing it is the size of an 8-track deck. I'll take my Garmin Miami any day."

Mr Spock, I bet that outstanding earth cacher Northwes is beating his head against one of his signs and wondering why he came up with a photo contest idea, thinking no one would enter to win. Captain Kirk, hush....... I'm trying to beam down my entry.

Mr. Spock, if I didn't know better, I'd say you were enjoying watching me fight off tribbles to get to the cache. At times you seem quite human.
Captain, your need to be insulting is illogical.

Keep your ears open, Spock. Karma and Momima must be close. I can hear the click clack of their caching shoes.

Try to act inconspicuous, Spock. The Flash Event doesn't start for another five minutes.

Darn, we can't finish the Planet Walk, Spock. Neptune's gone missing. Ohuru, get Oleruns on the communicator NOW!

"Spock, I just hate it when I can't find the cache" "But Captain, your logic is fouled, an earthcache has no container"

"Spock, I think it's time I gave up this planet hopping business of chasing the FTF around the galaxies and became a lawyer in Boston. Just call me Denny Crane"

"Captain...it just occurred to me that without global positioning satellites in orbit overhead, these GPS units are worthless here. They'll only work on earth!"
alternatively...
"Did you remember to reinitialize for Risa?"

"Spock, do these pants make me look fat?" "Captain, I do not see the point of your question, we are geocaching." "But Spock, the real question is, will I get the girl if I get the FTF?"

Look Jim, that group over there doesn't look like muggles.
Spock, calm down. You've been watching too many reruns of "The Night of the Living Geocachers".

"Hey Spock, could you check my pants? I think I got some devils club stuck in the polyester from that last Momima cache!" "Yes captain. But it may be logical to wait until all these muggles quit staring at us."

These entries have been collected and are in analysis by a team of 'cultural interpreters' from Klingon. They're already overdue with results, but I don't generally argue with knife-wielding knobheads... When they've finished their knifework I'll post the results back here.
Some pretty thoughtful entries... fascinating how many focused on Captain Kirk's pants, eh? Hmmm - it appears while some folks may be watching those clickety-clackin' cachin' shoes, there's others who're looking over the entire sartorial outfit, as it were...

"Mr. Spock, use that GPSr unit of yours there and help me find a White Dodge Nitro, code named White Knight, psuedoname Cacher. While you do that I will stand here and show off my tight pants for adoring female fans, for you know they all love me."
"Pardon me Captain, but your ego has gone to the heavens. It is not logical to look into the audience for girls when you should be looking at the ground, so we can locate this benchmark and get off of this barren planet."

"Captain...we just received information from a Federation source that the White Dodge Nitro marked "CACHER" will be docked at N 61° 09.257 W 150° 03.301 for a brief time Tuesday night. We are advised to use the transporter to capture it since attempts to use a tractor beam when it was first discovered illicited a hostile response."

Nearly got nailed by suspicious construction workers! I think we're at about a half-dozen personal vehicles now marked as travelers here in SC AK... I got two of them just this past week (practically ran over AKBeauty chasing down her Blue Escape on Saturday; Miss Polly Prissy Pants sat still long enough near the Nitro-CACHER last Thursday that I didn't have to commit a moving violation to grab their number). Silver Prickly Pear Crake Coin to be awarded as first prize (unactivated geocoin - quite lovely). Awarded in person to lucky copywriter at event Tuesday Nite... be there to see the presentation! (No - it won't be a thorny kind of thing...)

And the winner? Oh yeah... the winner... Saidbystacy! Mr. Spock, if I didn't know better, I'd say you were enjoying watching me fight off tribbles to get to the cache. At times you seem quite human. Captain, your need to be insulting is illogical. Hope she can come out to Kincaid tomorrow night, or else I'm gonna need her mailing address... Our panel of judges selected this from the four pages of entries because: " Trouble with Tribbles is an all-time favorite episode with fans!" "Captain Kirk was always picking on Mr Spock's outlook... this is in character" "No local cacher egos were harmed in posting this entry" "Succinct and to the point; mentions the characters, caching, and a focal 'thing' in two short sentences" * special note from the reviewers: We sincerely apologize for rendering this decision in a post that's nearly two weeks late. We were out caching with a certain well-known local guy, and got trapped in a time warp. It was squirrelly there for a bit... quite dangerous. By the way - pass on the chicken at the July 15th event... or you might just end up with that gas that someone referred to as a special prize... Runner-up prize goes to powmia for this one: Mr Spock, I bet that outstanding earth cacher Northwes is beating his head against one of his signs and wondering why he came up with a photo contest idea, thinking no one would enter to win. Captain Kirk, hush....... I'm trying to beam down my entry. I had a geocoin for him, but it looks like it got stolen by an unscrupulous fellow cacher... sigh... but powmia's used to that! Thanks for all your entries - and watch for the next fun contest!
