Not only is Malcore the apparent king of FTF in Alaska, he doesn't do to bad at the online contests either.
For those of you not familiar with Podcacher, (www.podcacher.com) it is a weekly podcast all about geocaching.
On a recent show, Show #167 to be exact, they announced a contest for a geocoin. All you had to do was go to their forum, post your ID, and you were entered in the drawing.
The Almighty Malcore was not FTP (First to Post). Matter of fact, he was E-STP (Eighty-Second to post). But when they rolled the magic dice, 82 was the winner, so Malcore takes home the prize -- as long as he listens to the show and contacts them within 2 weeks. PM already sent to him to tell him to claim his loot.
WAY TO GO MALCORE!!!

I listened to the podcast late last night after getting back from a FTF run out by palmer and I was very suprised when they picked my name. I usally don't have the luck to win these contasts. Maybe the FTF gave me the luck. I already sent a message to them BTW the coin is a 2008 Geocoinfest Bridge geocoin. A nice coin and probibly the closest I will ever get to being at a mega event.

A nice coin and probibly the closest I will ever get to being at a mega event. Congrats Malcore! I had a vision of twenty cachers piled in a VW bus to go to a Mega event because of gas prices and airfare. $833 now to go to Vegas... yikes.
