I mainly use a mac so MacCaching is a useful program - once I get a serial/USB adapter I can use the mac I use instead of an old PC to load waypoints if I want to. The cool thing about the program is that it can load cache descriptions into iPods listed in the contacts menu.

What will be down the assembly line next. Maybe we should form a dial-a-cache service. "Need one more cache to make 500 folks? Just dial 1-800-Geo-Cach and we will set you on your way. No questions asked. Info can be faxed to your hotel in a plain brown wrapper."

I'm always looking for solutions for Mac users and their Garmin stuff. Now I have a link to give to cachers when they ask.

I'm all Mac on my end (probably the fact that I'm also all K-12 on my end too!), and I'd like to recommend GPSBabel+ for all of your Waypoint import needs. This is also a good tool for GIS and getting that GPS to talk to ESRI products.
GPSBabel+ easy to use and free.

I've just moved from a Vista laptop to a new Mac Airbook. The one great lack on the Mac front is GSAK - GSAK is a fabulous application. MacCaching is o.k. - but it's not near GSAK. But it appears that MacCaching is the best out there on the Mac. What do other folks think?

But it appears that MacCaching is the best out there on the Mac. What do other folks think? I still use paper caching. I tossed my GSAK equip last summer...too much work. I use a Garmin Nuvi to get me close in the vehicle, than a Garmin 60cs to work to ground zero. I cut and paste the cache name, description, and hints onto a word processing page. This results in about 10-12 caches per page. Then start the hunt.
