Hey everyone! Long time no post here since I have sadly moved from Alaska awhile back :-( Hopefully will get a chance to return home in the next couple of months to visit and do some more Alaska caching. I'm not sure if i'm posting this in the right area since it's an 'out of Alaska' cache, but I found this article while viewing caches in my area and was curious if anyone else had heard of this cache or had attempted to find it as people seem to be traveling from all over the country and world to find this elusive cache. It just so happens to be about 15 miles from where I now live and I will be going hopefully tomorrow to take my first crack at locating this cache! www.geocaching.com/blog/2013/02/5-years-176-dnfs-1-find-a-real-challenge-gc1764c-lives-up-to-its-name/

Hi Blue Star, I was wondering what happened to you. Note, I'll be out running cache maintenance around Soldotna/Kenai next week. I know your cache by SoHi needs a new o-ring, so I can stop and do that. Are there any other caches of yours that need basic maintenance done? As for that DNF cache... good luck. Last finder took over 2 hours of searching. No thanks. coord.info/GC1764C
