I'm going on a 4 day dog mushing trip and wondered if there were any caches around Colorado Creek Cabin (North of the Winter Trail that parallels Chena Hot Springs Rd.) or Angel Creek Lodge? We'll have several dog teams so I can't really go looking for many but will be overnighting in these two locations so I can get out and look then.

No caches have been placed out either of those directions, yet. I've been wanting to hook up our dogs and drop a cache near each of the cabins on the Angel Creek Trail for the past two years, but haven't made it happen yet.
Closest cache to the winter trail might be Cav Scout's "Rock Pile," but I don't know who far off the winter trail it is since I accessed it from the picnic ground at river level. Not sure I'd want to leave a team tied out for as long as it could take to find that cache. Of course, my dogs are sprint dogs and don't understand the concept of hanging out and taking a break ;>).
You might also check on "Kaimus Cache."
That winter trail would be a great place to drop some caches, too.
Have fun out there!

Thanks Mike. Too bad I didn't bring the cache sheet for Rock Pile as were were right there. The Winter Trail goes right through there and we stopped to snack the dogs there. Oh well, had a great time anyways.
