Late notice, but if anyone is in Homer and has kids that want to learn about GPS and geocaching, come on down to the library tomorrow (Thursday June 20) at 1pm. Joel (NeverSummer) and I will be having fun corrupting young minds. Err, showing kids how to use the technology and having them practice by finding day caches. :-) www.cityofhomer-ak.gov/library/gps-geocaching-101

It was lightly attended, and went pretty well. The kids were enthusiastic, and it was a fun day of play for them (and us!)

LOL - there were half a dozen kids there, NS! That's a heavy turnout around here. ;-)
I agree - it was a fun day! My 4 1/2 year old (who helped place all the caches) was a delight to watch as she tried to help some of the kids without showing them exactly where the caches were. Gotta start 'em early you know!

Hey now! I'm not saying it was poor attendance...just not as many as I know we were all hoping for.
