Thanks, I believe this is what I am missing. It keeps giving me a no .loc file on my C drive. Will work more with it tomorrow, time for the group to hit the hay and my husband is getting anxious of me being isolated with this geocaching thing he says.

Another thing that might be happening is when you set up your Pocket Query (PQ) and check the zipped file option, your loc or gpx file is coming in zipped. You might need to save the zipped file to your hard drive and unzip it for EasyGPS to read it. Also, don't forget to add the extension when you are prompted for a file name when you are saving your file to the hard drive (e.g. Palmercaches.zip, Palmercaches.loc, etc.).
I'm not entirely certain about that since I haven't worked with EasyGPS since I got Geocaching Swiss Army Knife (GSAK) which automatically imports zipped gpx file. Easy GPS might be able to import zipped files now, but it didn't use to.

That sounds right LBK, I remember that from EasyGPS but I too have been using GSAK for a long time. You need to download the PQ on to your hard drive and unzip it as the file you will use in EasyGPS.

You have to first run a Pocket Query on the gc.com website to get a gpx or loc file. Gc.com will e-mail you the Pocket Query (be sure to check the day of the week for the query to run). Save the Pocket Query from the e-mail to a folder on your hard drive. Then, open the Pocket Query using EasyGPS. Built the Pocket Query, must of missed something as the query came up with 4 parking locations for different waypoints... dont believe that is what I had asked for but will try it all again tomorrow night. I was able to put them on my Garmin to see if I could go all through the instuctions. Thanks LBK for all your help. Hazel of Hazelsgroup Jessica told me tonight, "Just get a new one mommy, with all the information already in it so you can come play American Idle with us.

After filling in all your criteria, click "Submit information" at the bottom of the page. Then, go to the top of the page and click "preview the search." If you like what you got, click "edit" at the top of the page, then click on the day of the week you want the query to run (usually today). Click "submit information" one more time and your PQ will be e-mailed to you. Only PQ's selected for e-mailing count against one's daily quota of five PQs.
