Does anyone have a SPOT 2 Satellite GPS Messenger/Tracker? I recently purchased the item to track my trips and also inform individuals that I am OK along my routes. It can also be used as an emergency rescue notification device in the event of serious injury.

I have the original SPOT tracker. Have been using it for nearly 3 years now. Great device, especially when you travel as much as I do. The tracking feature allows the folks at home to see where I am on my journey by logging into my SPOT tracking page. Then I use the check-in messaging feature to send an "I'm OK" message to a short list of emails & cell phones when I'm starting or ending my day's travels.
