:)I received my set of the 2009 Alaska Geocoins yesterday and am very happy with them. All are absolutely beautiful! I like the velvet display case that the silver and gold relief coins came in. I think that the bronze coin and the coinament deserve the same royal treatment as they are just as beautiful as the silver ones. In fact, the bronze coin is so highly polished that it really looks like gold rather than bronze! Question: Last year, the coinament series was available in bronze, silver and silver with gold relief. Is the bronze the only coinament this year or are the others to be produced later? Thanks for the great coins! I'm anxiously awaiting the 2010 series!

You are correct rubiconcacher. The coinament for this year was only produced in bronze, and a very limited number of those.
Time will tell what 2010 has in store for Alaska geocoins. While the made in Alaska coins are much nicer than anything I've seen coming from overseas the prices for locally made coins is starting to make other manufacturers look more appealing.
I have been hearing rumors of an Alaska micro coin available sometime in 2010 though so keep checking this site.
