It appears that the Old Glenn Highway from the Butte to Palmer is being relocated. Unfortunately, this is affecting several of my caches, from One Track Mind (Palmer) to Spawn of the Dead (Butte.) So far, Construction Gnome has fled, Cache Cow is under 6 feet of topped cottenwoods, and Lightly Driven is buried under a snag pile. I've heard that they are moving the highway 50 feet west and adding a bike trail. Cool, but hard on yours truly...
I will try to keep everything updated, but this project is rather big. I'm not sure what will survive summer.
Yours in frustration....

Ooooh - sorry, Nate! I think our company has the sign contract for that job - I'll see if I can take a gander at the plans map on Monday. Maybe there's a PDF I could send you that outlines the scope of the job. It's one of the dozen or so bids I didn't do myself this winter - otherwise I'd have those plans already. Understand it's extensive (which is why the owner did the bid - she said she wanted to hear the 'ka-chings' herself! That's what we call it as we add up the sign installations - 'KA-ching! Another massive payment from the federal highway fund!')
A bike trail along that route is, in the long run, going to be cool for the pedaling crowd & really cool for us cachers... in the long run...
