Benchmark hunting - an exercise in accuracy, or best of all a challenging histo-archaeological time-travel geo-puzzle. Both versions let you reach out and touch a datum point on the Earth's surface, measured across three dimensions as well as the planet's gravity and magnetic fields.

I came across a pile of old carpet that had been pulled up when I wrote this and already had it removed. I only wanted everyone to know they could call me if they happen to find flooring removal while out caching. I'd be happy to help in disposing of it.

ladybugkids: I couldn't find the logos on the "new" website, but logos are still located on the "old" website at www.geocachealaska.org/gakartwork.htm. I got there by going to the "Advocate" tab, clicking on the link for the old Land Manager page, and then
