Fairbanks Area Cachers,
Just got the word that Ladybug Kids will be in town this week and he is bringing a box of 2007 Geocoins with him (Silver and Bronze only). He will also have some of the 2007 Geopins as that order came through.
So ... not enough time to setup a Holiday Event officially but thought this was the perfect excuse to get together once again.
So ... here are the dates, times, and locations. We sure hope you can stop by for a visit or to pick up some coins.
Date: December 20, 2007 (Thursday) Time: 7:00 - 9:00 pm Place: PedalPushin's Home
N 64 48.562 W 147 25.476 1307 Hartzog Loop North Pole, AK 99705
From Fairbanks, turn off the highway at Badger Rd and proceed about 6 miles to Hartzog Loop. If you pass Nordale, you have gone too far. Hartzog Loop is about .3 of a mile before the Nordale turn off.
From North Pole, Badger Rd for about 6 miles. After passing Nordale Rd., .3 miles on the left.
In both cases, we are at the bottom or a horseshoe loop. We will have the Christmas lights on the fence and trees lit up to show the way.
If possible, RSVP just so we know how many folks are swinging by. Sorry, no horse rides in the winter :-)

Holy smokes! It's cold up here! But, I'll still venture down Badger Road tomorrow night.
I forgot to pack the bear pins, but PedalPushin will be receiving their prepaid pins so you can check them out , order some if you are interested, and I'll mail them as soon as I return to Anchorage.
Hope to see a lot of familiar faces there.
I'm also bring the world's biggest geocoin so you all can log it.

Many thanks to Team PedalPushin for opening their home and playing host to a bunch of cachers. It was great to see folks I hadn't seen since we moved to Anchorage (PedalPushin & Grandpa Bird Dog, Team C, 5 Bears) and to meet some new cachers (Fenrisdarkwolf and mitzg ak), too.
Thanks to FrostG1anT for generously providing copies of the Holiday Event DVD. It played a continuous loop during the second half of the event and several folks commented that it was a great way to show noncachers what the game is all about.
Thanks, too, to all who generously bought coins and pins to support GeocacheAlaska!
I look forward to attending another Interior getogether, but perhaps when it's not -42° F.
P.S. I did make my flight...in part because it was delayed an hour.
