In a month I will be on Carnival Legend going to Alaska via Tracy Arm Fjord, Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan and Victoria, BC. I was wondering if there any great caches near the ports that stood out that you would recommend? Something creative? It would need to be close to the port. I see quite a few online, but if I had to narrow them down to just a few at each port, what caches would you suggest?
I see a virtual cache in Tracy Arm that I will get, and a virtual cache on the white pass that I will get while on the RR excursion in Skagway. But of the other traditional caches, what should I try to squeeze in ?
thanks!!!!

I cached in Sitka, Juneau, and Ketchikan last summer and can vouch for the number of favorite points a cache has as being a reasonably good indicator of a quality cache.
In Juneau, I highly recommend going out to Mendenhall Glacier and hiking the trails in the area. The cruise ships offer bus service or for more freedom (and likely less money) you can rent a car or take the city bus to within a mile or so of the visitor center.
