My wife Catlady and I are cruising to Alaska on the Norweign Jewel leaving Seattle Aug 25th. We are planning on spending all our shore time geocaching instead of paying for the over priced shore excusions offered by the cruise line. We are hoping to meet some other cachers who might be on board. We are stopping in Ketchikan, Jeneau and Skagway. Are there any "Must See" caches you would reccomend that we visit? We will be walking or relying on public transportation to get around so we probably can't travel to far from the port.
Thanks Cache Gator

Even thought it's pretty old, this thread in the geocaching.com forums has some information for Alaskan cruisers. There is also a pinned Alaskan Cruise thread over there as well. Perhaps some Southeast Alaskan cachers can chime in here with current favorites since I don't have any direct experience in that part of the state (yet).

Most In Ketchikan need wheels. But there are some near the cruise ship dock. I'll be there until Aug 26. Too bad we won't meet.
