;D That's right. It took us 4 HOURS to do a virtual cache! While on a recent visit to Iowa blazingpathways and I stopped off in Clear Lake to grab the virtual cache GC8159 THE DAY THE MUSIC DIED in honor of Buddy Holly. A pair of cachers we met earlier in the day suggested it was well worth a stop. Little did they know how worth it it would be. As we were gathering the information needed to log the cache blazingpathways commented on neat a passing car looked and if I knew what type it was. "About a 56 or 57 Chevy conterible", I replied. Pretty soon thereafter we noticed a few more custom and classic cars cruising around. Figuring out something must be up we decided to follow a string of them to see if there was a car show or something else going on in town. Indeed there was. Turns out we picked the night before the Clear Lake Auto Society Show to do this virtual. The Friday evening before the car show starts on Saturday features a custom car parade that car show entrants are encouraged to participate in as well as anyone else who wishes to. This year entries in the parade were estimated to be between 550 and 600 cars. It took over 2 HOURS for the entire parade to pass by the start line. And we watched all of the parade! Attachments:

OOPS! I forgot to shrink the photo! You need to pan across the photo to see it all. At least on my lap top.
