I was with Blazingpathways last week when she found LBK's cache Nurse, I Spy Gypsies, Run! This is a very fun cache to do and I'm surprised how little it has been done. It might even make a better winter cache than summer find because once the snow gets deep enough it is easier to reach! I think all of us know of a cache we have done and feel is under appreciated / underfound. Please feel free to add them to this thread and let's help spread the word about them.

GC1JWBZ RADIO DAYSRADIO DAYS is a Premium Member multicache which is absolutely unique - there is no other cache like it in Alaska, and perhaps only one other like it anywhere else in the country (as far as my research indicates). It's a scarily simple puzzle to complete - just what you'd expect from a scobey multicache - a bit puzzling, a bit educational, a bit whimsical, a bit technical, and a whole lot of fun. The entire multi plays out in Anchorage - no long distance driving needed - just a lively imagination and appreciation of the way things used to be (and the ability to read a cache page listing for clues...) Frankly, I'm surprised this one sees so little traffic, because it's easy and so much fun!

GC25412 Johnson Pass - Bench Lake Flats is an ammo can located 70 yards off the Johnson Pass Trail. Placed in early March of 2010, it's had no visitors... and it's in a lovely location. I rated the terrain at 4.5 simply because it's either a long hike, a long bike ride, a long day ski trip, or a somewhat complicated snowmachine ride (I placed it via snowmachine on a trip in from the northern end of the trail, as the cache page photos illustrate). Frankly, it's quite accessible. There's an FTF just waiting for someone - but be very careful if you plan a winter backcountry trip into this location. File a trip plan, go with at least one other experienced backcountry winter traveler, and check the avalanche forecast link on the page before you leave. That warning aside - it's simply gorgeous back there in the winter!
